ROLE: Event lead and budget owner. Managed all logistics, flow, events team, executives, sourcing, contracts, and vendors.
cONTEXT: Welcome event as part of a 3-day, 4-night, $3.1M sales kickoff event.
OBJECTIVE: Provide an informal gathering of all event attendees. The goal is to reconnect with colleagues and make memories in a casual event environment, free from speeches or presentations.
ENTERTAINMENT: Pub games including Dance Dance Revolution, giant Connect 4, air hockey, corn hole, and foosball—all with custom event branding to provide an effective uniform experience for attendees.
SUCCESS: Beyond the welcome reception, I initiated a COO post-event gathering. In light of the company's recent appointment of a new COO, my aim was to create an opportunity for him to personally meet people leaders he had not yet encountered face-to-face. This invitation-only after-party took place in the COO's Presidential Suite at the hotel and has since become a cherished tradition designed to foster connections between people leaders and the executive team.
